Veterinary Referrals

Ethical, science backed treatment

Why I only work under Veterinary Referral

As a member of the FABC, I require the client’s vet’s permission to conduct a behavioral assessment. FAB Clinicians collaborate closely with Veterinary Surgeons to ensure that any known or potential links between behaviour and pathology are integrated into behaviour evaluations and treatment plans. This approach allows me to provide tailored training and behaviour advice, addressing specific issues while ensuring that any underlying health concerns are considered.

Treatment plans are not only ethical but also based on best practices and scientific evidence. I also require access to the full veterinary history and any other relevant information the vet deems important for a comprehensive understanding of the case.

You might find it useful to access the Veterinary FAQ's page of the FABC website to discover more about how referral works and what is involved for you as the referring vet.

I am a Pre-Certified Candidate Member which means I have the theoretical knowledge but not the practical experience of a certified member. I am working towards full accreditation with CPD to support my understanding. I adhere to FABC's strict Code of Conduct and do not practise outside of my competence.
